DEARNE CHYNOWETH - SPEECH PATHOLOGIST
Dee completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. Since then, Dee has gained experience working with both adults and children across various settings, including private clinics, disability support, aged-care facilities, the community, and telehealth.
As a mother of two young children, Dee is especially passionate about early intervention and empowering parents to support their child's communication with confidence. Dee understands the importance of building strong relationships with clients and their families, recognizing how beneficial this is for successful therapy outcomes.
Dee is also certified in Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk, an evidence-based program that equips families with effective strategies to support their child's communication development. Outside of work, Dee loves exploring waterfalls with her family and spending quality time with her Border Collie, Sadie.
As busy parents, we know how hard it can be to manage multiple appointments. Plus, it can be really helpful to see your child in an environment that is familiar and meaningful to them. For this reason, we offer a mobile service within the Yarra Ranges and the Yarra Valley.
We also operate from a clinic space in Kilsyth to provide varied options.
Please note: travel fees apply to all mobile services.
