Let's Get Prep'd - School Readiness Program
Foothills Speech Pathology are excited to offer an 8-week school readiness program in term 4. This program is designed for pre-school aged children (ages 4-5) to get them prep’d and ready for an exciting but sometimes daunting transition to primary school!
what is involved?
We use a range of play-based and structured activities to bolster various skills including:
- Participating in classroom routines
- Cooperation & participation in a group
- Asking & answering questions
- Story comprehension & retell
- Pre-literacy skills (e.g., rhyme, syllables, initial sounds)
- Understanding & labelling emotions
We provide a supportive small group learning environment, giving each child an opportunity to learn, grow, build confidence, and work on the goals tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.

Our program is primarily run by our skilled and passionate Speech Pathologists however there will be specialist sessions run by Occupational Therapists and/or Music Therapists.

- Commencing on 6th October 2025
- 9:30am - 12pm
